Stock Photo - The ANO movement would deserve to end up in opposition at the Prague City Hall after the October 5-6 election in the capital, its leader and PM Andrej Babis told public Czech Television (CT) tonight, on Saturday, October 6, 2018, in reaction to the election results. ANO, which won in Prague four years ago and had mayor Adriana Krnacova in the past term, fared fifth in the capital and will have 12 seats in the Prague Assembly. According to Babis, the work of the ANO representatives at the Prague City Hall, possibly their media presentation, as well as the work of mayors for ANO affected the election result. He expressed disagreement with today's statement by President Milos Zeman who said ""ANO's handicap"" was its Prague election leader Petr Stuchlik (left), whom no one knew. Voters may view positively the replacement of the ANO election leader, MP Patrik Nacher (right), chosen in primary elections, for businessman Petr Stuchlik, as it prevented the plurality of offices.
