If they don't bring forth young within one year then they may be exchanged. the fur is sold for 300.-- DM. they need 200 to 250 furse for one fur-coat. As Josef Zettl told there are now only nine of these expensive fur-coats. One has Josef Stalin's widow, one of the wife of Aga Khan and another the late Queen-mother Mary of England. Josef Zettl's animals have numbers. the couple AH L 4 and AH K 11 had their first young in Munich. It is just three hours old. Chinchillas are very cheap in feeding. One animal costs about 10.-- DMarks per year. They have a daily bath in sand. They have young every 111 days. The home of the chinchillas are the Andes. the Inka-princes already decorated themselves with their furs.
