Stock Photo - CONCRETE - A MONUMENT OF A FRIENDSHIP by Marc Broos at Alma Löv Museum of Unexpected Art. The exhibition consists of an installation, a whole army of faces, heads, portraits in solid concrete, all in life size. . Marc Broos considered the artist Lars Lerin one of his best friends. A thirty-year friendship then suddenly ended. So when the artist Marc Broos received a scholarship and thus his own space at the Rackstad Museum, he chose to make a monument to an ended friendship, a concrete monument of at least 1000 kg. A weight that hardly comes close to what a real friendship weighs if you can now weigh a thirty-year friendship in kilograms or grams. What remains are memories that you carry with you for the rest of your life. What has been lives on. . . About the museum: Since Alma Löv Museum's start-up in 1998, the museum has shown art projects with a focus on creating a platform for experimentation, the deviant and a place with great artistic freedom. In the area there are about twenty architectural pavilions in a large natural area and the main building Paleis Oranjestraat; a converted barn, on a thousand square meters with several floors and halls with a cafe, theater hall and creative workshop. The museum spans a large park-like area with sculptures and installations. The museum consists of a permanent art collection and every season presents an extensive temporary exhibition with both international and Swedish artists.
