Stock Photo - Dec. 03, 1966 - The Knight In Shining Armour In A Modern World: Mr. Michael Pelly caused a sensation yesterday in this day and age of the modern mini-skirt and 2with-it' clothes, when he appeared in London's Old Brompton Road wearing a shining suit of armour. There not much wall for knightly deeds these days, other than in the noble causes of film-making and general publicity work. So anyone looking at Mr. Pelly in his suit of shining armour should have known what to expect. As a matter-of-fact he was attired in this way for the ceremonial opening of a new public house, called appropriately , 'The Tournament', near Earl's Court arena. Photo shows Not exactly a comfortable attire but Mr. Pelly dressed as an ancient knight takes a welcome drink after the ceremonial opening of the pub.
