Former Prime Minister of Rhodesia, Garfield Todd, today launched Amnesty International's 'Prisoners of Conscience Year' by signing the worldwide petition for the release of all prisoners of conscience at a news conference in London. The petition was also signed at the conference by British peer, Lord Avebury and by four ex-political prisoners adopted by Amnesty International - Martin Sostre (USA); Vadim Delauny (Soviet Union); Angela Seixas (Brazil) and Didymus Mutasa (Rhodesia).
