Stock Photo - Jan. 01, 1960 - Greek Statues Found In Sea Off Italy: Two magnificient bronze statutes of Greek warriors found in the sea by a swimmer off fishing village of Riaci (between the 'heel and toe' of Italy) are on view to the Public for the first tome at the Presidential Palace in Rome, It has taken expert restorers in Florence over four years to carefully remove, the encrustations of coral and sells from the 5 ft tall statues which are believed to be the work od 5th century Greek sculptor Phidias.
