She blamed the murderous heat of Almeria for the quarrel which finally broke up her marriage to Gunther Sachs. Now she is back in Almeria again but is just as angry. She is making her film number 44, 'Le Boulevard du Rhone', and her partners are Line Ventura and Gay Karchand with Roberts de Enrico as director. This time she brought her new 'husband'. as she calls him. He is Patrick Gilles, a blond giant, with blue eyes, and a former science student. They are staying in the Hotel Aguadulce in Almeria, and when Brigitte is not working, they lie on the beach or take a swim. Everybody is surprised at Brigitte's return to Spanish soil. The first time she visited Spain was in 1957 when with Stephen Boyd she filmed 'Les Bijoutiers de Clair de Lune' Ten years later (1967) she stepped withe Sean Connery (James Bond) in 'Shelake' When her first husband Gunther Sache returned to Germany after they quarelled Brigitte spent the remainder of her working days swearing at the sun, sea, people in fact everything. 1, 2, 3, 4 During a break from filming 'Le Boulevard du Rhone' Brigitte Bardot takes a sun bath on the beach in Almeria, in southern Spain.
