Stock Photo - Mar. 03, 1959 - The new Vespa Touren 150.. these days was introduced to the press. At this model, important change of the Vespa-motor has been made since 1946. The main disadvantage was that 50 of the oil had nor been used because of the warmth of the cylinder (they had burnt away). This has now been changed and the Vespa will be much more profitable. There will also be no annoying smoke any more, the costs for keeping were reduced and also the price for the petrol-mixture. To make this mixture, the Vespa has its own mix-cup. Very important is -especially for the ladies - that the weight has been reduced from 105 to 88 kilogram. The normal usage is 2.2 litre, highest speed 80 kilometre/h and the price DM 1425,- (about £120), the 'deluxe'-model DM 1485, - (about £ more). o.p.s: The bigger, modern sister goes shopping for Easter - of - course - on her Vespa.
