A UK Airprox report has detailed a near-miss 'Category A' incident with a drone and a Virgin Airlines B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft over Essex on 14 Feb, 2019 as the plane was landing at Heathrow. A crewmember on the passenger jet saw a drone 90ft away and another was in the vecinity at an altitude of 14,000ft according to the report.
