So, the first German-Army school was opened in Neu-Ulm (South-Germany). Each course for the soldier-students lasts 8 weeks with 38 lessons weekly. (11 lessons = German, 9 lessons - mathematics, 6 lessons = English, 6 lessons typewriting, and each tow lessons = geography, history and citizens instruction). The condition for the permission of beginning the course is to be volunteer-soldier and to have served already two years and also to have finished the elementary school. The aim is to reach the maturity as base for a later civil profession. Between the courses is always an interruption of 8 months and the soldiers should make exercises in the mean time themselves that they do not forget what they already learnt.
