Interior views reveal a gothic structure with high ceilings, pointed arches, and an apse with stained glass windows. Fragments of preserved frescoes are visible in the white walls. Most views are of paintings and frescoes in the three chapels and crypt. In the chapel of St. Mary Magdalen are extensive fresco cycles early 15th century, of the saint. The Callicola chapel and Chapel of the Sacrament are baroque chapels with stucco decoration and marble altars. In the crypt formerly the Chiesa di S. Pietro Martire are 14th century frescoes.
