Biography

Natural history photographer based in Northern Ontario, Canada. Degree in biological science. Taught high school biology for thirty years. Began photography in the 1980s. I've been with AGE for several years now. Recently I self-published a coffee table book called Close to Home. While I enjoy travel throughout North America I feel fortunate to have many landscape and wildlife photo experiences near my home.

"Inspiration begins with work" (Freeman Patterson)
If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be?
I was a teacher, retiring early to pursue photography more completely. While I taught science, I always felt connected with nature and art.
