The Office for Statistics Berlin-Brandenburg had published the official tourism statistics for 2021 at the beginning of March. According to the statistics, overnight stays of 10.1 million were 0.3 percent below the figure for 2020, while the number of guest arrivals was 3.1 million, a decrease of 2.9 percent compared to 2020. In 2019, the last tourism year before the Corona pandemic, nearly 14 million overnight stays were registered, as well as 5.2 million guest arrivals.
