The Office for Statistics Berlin-Brandenburg had published the official tourism statistics for 2021 at the beginning of March. According to the statistics, overnight stays were 10.1 million, down 0.3 percent from 2020, while guest arrivals totaled 3.1 million, down 2.9 percent from 2020. In 2019, the last tourism year before the Corona pandemic, nearly 14 million overnight stays were registered, as well as 5.2 million guest arrivals.
