Foto de stock - 1960 Austin Mini Van. Designed in the wake of the Suez oil crisis, the Mini's ingenious design made it ideal for light commercial work. Good acceleration and sharp handling made it fun to drive. When new, BMC marketed the Mini van as the Austin 7 quarter tonner. Also available in pick-up form, its wheelbase was longer than the saloon. This van had only one previous owner before coming to the National Motor Museum in 1986. Its optional extras include the passenger seat at £12, and the bumper over-riders.
