Foto de stock - Carbayones are a typical Asturian sweet, more specifically from Oviedo. Hence its name, since Carbayones is what Ovenses are called because of a certain oak (carbayu in Asturian) that was located on Calle Uría, in the center of the city. In the place where it was, there is currently a commemorative plaque that recalls the location of this legendary tree, El Carbayón.
