The Sydney Cricket Ground, also known as the SCG, is a major sporting stadium in Sydney which now currently hosts international and regional cricket matches and Australian rules Football. The stadium was established in the 19th Century and has been developed over the years to bring it to a 48,000 seated capacity arena. The SCG is the home ground for the New South Wales Blues cricket team, the Sydney Sixers of the Twenty 20 cricket Big Bash League and the Sydney Swans Australian Football League club. It is owned and operated by the Sydney Cricket Ground Trust that also manages the Sydney Football Stadium located next door.
