Foto de stock - Handmade and painted skulls go on display at a unique skull exhibition in the town of Varna, north-east of the Bulgarian capital Sofia. The skulls are hand-crafted by ECO-friendly materials and natural products. They are painted with vegetable paints and are completely harmless and safe for the nature. The skull exhibition is influenced by the Mexican culture, every year at the end of October, Mexico celebrates its national holiday “Dia de Muertos” or “Day of the dead”. The mission of the exhibition and the 13 artists who made the skulls is to change the taboo of getting the skull as a symbol of death only, because if you think out of the box every person can be seen as an individual skull. Everyone of us wears this symbol during life which personify his individuality. Featuring: Painted Skull Exhibition Where: Varna, Bulgaria When: 17 Dec 2014 Credit: Impact Press Group/WENN.com
