Foto de stock - Italy, Chiusdino, 07/04/2015 The Abbey of San Galgano is the ruins of a former abbey about 35 km southwest of Siena on the territory of the municipality Chiusdino in Tuscany. The monastery was founded by Galgano Guidotti on the hill Montesiepiwas in the 12th century. The Cistercians remained until 1783, when Grand Duke Leopold I picked up the monastery. 1783 collapsed the bell tower and most vault of the church. Today, the 71-meter-long religious building is in spite of the collapsed roof one of the major attractions in Tuscany. - Chiusdino, Italy, 07/04/2015
