A private view was held at the new Burlington Galleries this afternoon of the twelve British entries that have been selected to represent Britain in the World Sculpture Competition - organised by the London Institute of Contemporary Art. More than 3,500 entries from 57 countries were received -and the winner will receive ?11,500. The theme of the contest is 'The unknown Political prisoner'.
