Foto de stock - Oct. 29, 1953 - Dr. Nakib on trial:The trial of Dr.Ahmed El Nakid, former director of the Moassat Hospital, Alexandria, Egypt, opened before the Revolutionary Council. He pleaded not guilty to the two counts against him - the first that he committed acts that helped vitiate the system of government in the country in 1952 and the period that preceded it, by virtue of his close relationship with the ex-king and that he behaved in a manner that harmed the country's interests in their ethical, material and moral aspects. The second count says that Dr. Nakib committed acts in which he exploited his influence without any regard for the country's interest in his capacity as Director of the Moassat Hospital he misappropriated the hospital's funds to his own private advantages and to the advantage of the ex-King and others.
