Foto de stock - Ruth Matilda Anderson reading on a balcony, Orense, June 1925. Ruth Mathilda Anderson (Cottonwood State Farm, Nebraska, 1893-New York, 1983) was an American photographer. In 1921 when she was working as an interior decorator, she was hired by the Hispanic Society of America on the recommendation of Clarence White himself. She was there under the supervision of the director of the institution, Acher Milton Huntington, updating her technique as a photographer and researcher. She began working as a museum photographer and in 1922 she was appointed curator of photography.
