Foto de stock - 03 November 2021, Brandenburg, Rauen: Deadwood lies in the autumnal beech forest in the Rauen mountains, also called Rauener Berge. At the highest point of the 153-metre-high Rauener Berge is an approximately 40-metre-high observation tower. In good weather, you have a wonderful view from here, for example as far as Berlin. The Rauen mountains are widely known for the Markgrafensteine (margrave stones). The glacier advances during the Ice Age ensured that rock blocks of various sizes were transported over thousands of kilometres with the inland ice from Scandinavia. Particularly large stones were deposited in the Rauen Mountains, the largest being the large and small Markgrafenstein. Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB. - Rauen/Brandenburg/Germany
