The officials had received a tip on Friday evening that the 55-year-old driver was probably drunk at the wheel, according to police. When the police officers wanted to check the SUV standing on a sidewalk, the driver accelerated and rammed the police car (r). The emergency car turned onto the opposite lane and collided with the car (l) of a 33-year-old woman. Thereupon the policemen shot at the front tires of the SUV and stopped the car.
