On the initiative and with a great deal of personal commitment of Magdeburg entrepreneur Ulf Steinforth, the ""Sudenburg Beer"" brand was revived in 2014 and this craft beer has now been brewed in the city again since 2017 with the construction of the new brewery in Magdeburg-Sudenburg. This means that the traditional Sudenburger Brauhaus brand with Sudenburger beers, founded in 1882 in Magdeburg-Sudenburg by the two brewers Dummér & Döring, can celebrate its 140th anniversary this year in 2022.
