Foto de stock - 14 March 2019, Saxony, Leipzig: An employee of the Museum für Druckkunst Leipzig shows a poster printed with wooden letters for the 1st Day of Printing Art. The rooms of the historic printing workshop breathe 500 years of printing history with about 100 functioning machines and presses for historical casting, typesetting and printing techniques. On Friday (15.03.2019), the museum will participate in the first nationwide Print Art Day and offer a colourful programme. On 15 March last year, the artistic printing techniques were included in the German Unesco Commission's nationwide list of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The first anniversary is now the occasion to draw attention to the cultural significance of the art of printing with a multitude of activities throughout Germany.
