A state-of-the-art operating room with unique technical equipment was presented for the first time. The hybrid operating room makes it possible to perform complicated vascular surgery using catheter procedures and to check the progress of the operation and the success of the treatment directly during this procedure with the aid of X-ray images. In addition, the room has the very highest air purity class 1a. This is currently neither standard nor mandatory for operating rooms. For physicians, the very highest air quality has a direct impact on patient well-being, for example during the surgical insertion of vascular implants.
