Foto de stock - 27 January 2020, Saxony-Anhalt, Halle (Saale): Thomas Müller-Bahlke, Director of the Francke Foundations Halle, shows a historical hippopotamus tooth that is over 300 years old in the Chamber of Art and Natural History of the Francke Foundations. The 50 centimetre long exhibit was discovered at the beginning of the year in the biology collection of the ""Latina August Hermann Francke"" state high school. According to the foundation, the tooth had been searched for years in vain. Elector Friedrich III of Brandenburg had once sent the tooth from his collection to August Hermann Francke in Halle in 1698 on the occasion of the founding of the Chamber of Art and Natural History.
