Foto de stock - 28 January 2021, Saxony, Markneukirchen: Tambourines are in the production of Rohema Percussion in Markneukirchen. The company, originally founded as a father-son business, has now developed into one of the leading manufacturers of drumsticks in Europe. 200,000 pairs of drumsticks and 30,000 batons leave the factory every year for destinations all over the world. Recently, the 30-man company invested 2.3 million euros in a state-of-the-art production hall. The consequences of the Corona pandemic have not left the company, which was founded in 1888, unscathed. Short-time work and a sharp drop in sales mark the company's historic low. Nevertheless, there is optimism in the team that things are now looking up again. Rohema manufactures batons and drumsticks, but also professional percussion instruments, various mallets and a wide range of children's instruments for music education and private use.
