Foto de stock - 28 November 2023, Saxony-Anhalt, Wernigerode: The iron for the production of a Celtic sword is heated and made to glow in the forge in the Harz smithy. The object is a copy of a more than 1000-year-old find from the time of the Celts. The so-called Spatha sword is a one-off production for a customer who has this rare cutting weapon made as a collector's item. The iron is forged in several hundred steps. As the steel and coal from that time are no longer available, the sword is made using modern knowledge. There are no detailed records of the material the Celts used to make their weapons. The sword serves not only as a collector's item but also as a good training tool. Photo: Matthias Bein/dpa/ZB. - Wernigerode/Saxony-Anhalt/Germany
