Foto de stock - 28 November 2023, Saxony-Anhalt, Wernigerode: Michele, an apprentice at the Harz smithy, makes a Celtic sword. The object is a copy of a more than 1000-year-old find from the time of the Celts. The so-called Spatha sword is a one-off production for a customer who has this rare cutting weapon made as a collector's item. The iron is forged in several hundred steps. As the steel and coal from that time are no longer available, the sword is made using modern knowledge. There are no detailed records of the material the Celts used to make their weapons. The sword serves not only as a collector's item but also as a good training tool. Photo: Matthias Bein/dpa/ZB. - Wernigerode/Saxony-Anhalt/Germany
