Foto de stock - 30 August 2022, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lubmin: Markus Söder (CSU), Prime Minister of Bavaria, and the Prime Minister of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania visit the Lubmin energy site from the excursion ship ""Kleine Freiheit"". In Lubmin's industrial port, liquefied gas is to be landed by means of a floating storage and regasification vessel (FSRU) and piped via the site of the company Gascade Gastransport GmbH to the transfer station of the OPAL (Ostsee-Pipeline-Anbindungsleitung - Baltic Sea Pipeline Link) and NEL (Nordeuropäische Erdgasleitung - North European Gas Pipeline) long-distance gas pipeline. Until now, Lubmin has mainly landed Russian gas from the now throttled Nord Stream 1 Baltic Sea pipeline and then transferred it to other parts of Germany and Europe. The non-operated Nord Stream 2 pipeline also ends here. Photo: Stefan Sauer/dpa. - Lubmin/Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania/Germany
