In the monastery garden of Neuzelle in the Oder-Spree district, work has been underway for about two years on the third and final construction phase to restore the baroque grounds. The opening is planned for 10.06.2022. Here, a nursery with a greenhouse, a kitchen garden and herb garden as well as symmetrically laid out flower beds lined with hedges and fruit trees have been created. Since 1998, work has been underway on the garden complex, which covers almost 5 hectares and is considered the only baroque garden in Brandenburg. It was laid out in the 18th century by the Cistercian monks of the Neuzelle monastery.
