The 29-year-old is responsible for 1500 hectares of state forest. In the Eibenstock forest district, Borowski is the only woman responsible for one of the 13 districts. Borowski plans and supervises the timber harvest, the planting of new trees and hunting in her district. Four forest workers support her in her work. The number of women working in forestry could increase in Saxony in the future. The proportion of women has increased in recent years. This year, there were 17 men and 13 women training to become district managers. Like Anne Borowski, they are then responsible for their own district.
