Here, the frozen sea buckthorn berries are separated from the twigs and leaves. On the remaining six hectares, the berries, also known as the ""lemon of the north,"" are harvested for the last time, after which the areas are turned over. The continuing death of the bushes ensures that the two sea buckthorn farms in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will stop growing the vitamin-rich berries.
