Biografía

Jorge Fernandez has specialized on travel photography. He has been travelling around for the last 15 years and now he focuses his photography mainly on the people he encounters during his trips.

¿Qué influencias artísticas hay en tu trabajo?
Me fijo mucho en el trabajo de fotógrafos como Steve McCurry o Sebastiao Salgado, sin olvidar a grandes maestros como Ansel Adams, Cartier Breson o Robert Capa.
¿Cuál ha sido el mejor consejo fotográfico que has recibido?
"Si la foto no es buena es porque no estabas lo suficientemente cerca". Obviamente Capa no me lo dijo a mí, pero me lo apropio como consejo e intento seguirlo.
¿Si no fueses fotógrafo, que te gustaría ser?
Algo que estuviera relacionado con los viajes y que me permitiera hacer fotografías.
