It is integrated into the Protected Landscape of the Eastern Coast of Asturias. . A jester is a karst formation that consists of a vertical hole formed a few meters from the edge of a limestone cliff and that inferiorly communicates with the sea. When the tide rises and the waves beat hard, it expels a stream of pulverized seawater upwards, which causes a characteristic sound that is what gives it the name of jester. The water spray can reach more than 10 meters high and the snort can be heard several kilometers away.
