Three defendants are alleged to have tied up a 19-year-old and sunk her alive in the Weser with a concrete slab. The prosecution accuses the two men and one woman of murder and forced prostitution. The victim was a 19-year-old, her body was recovered from the lock canal near Balge (Nienburg district) at the end of April. The accused are alleged to have first induced the mentally ill 19-year-old to engage in prostitution and later imprisoned her. In order to cover up these crimes, they allegedly killed the woman.
