Photo de stock - 29 March 2021, Saxony-Anhalt, Halle: After an appointment, the Minister President of Saxony-Anhalt leaves the new joint press shop of Porsche and Schuler with his official car and accompanying vehicle. The two AGs have founded Smart Press Shop GmbH for this purpose. The plant houses a state-of-the-art six-stage servo press line in which die sets can be changed even faster using an autonomous crane system. The press itself can produce between 20-80 parts at 20 strokes per minute. From May 2022, 135 employees will initially produce body parts here for the E-Macan produced at the neighbouring Porsche plant in Leipzig. Later, parts for Bentley are planned.
