Biographie

I am a photographer, writer and biologist. I grew up in England, and after several years in Alaska and then coastal British Columbia, found that Alberta provided the ideal base for majestic mountains, incredible wildlife, thrilling rodeos, and stunning pow-wows. Based in Cochrane, Alberta, I have expanded my collection of images to include rodeos, pow-wows and First Nation dance competitions, firework displays, urban centres, and travel destinations. I am the author of 9 books.

What is the best photographic advice that you have ever received?
Get up early, stay out late and don't let the weather put you off!
If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be?
I am a biologist, so I am lucky that I get to combine to wonderful elements in my career.
