Biography

I have been a professional photographer for over 42 years. Started my career as a USAF photographer serving in North Carolina, Vietnam, and Maine. I am an honors graduate from Brooks Institute of Photography. I have lectured in 43 of the 50 United States, all of the Canadian Provinces, Mexico and Puerto Rico. I have written articles for photographic magazines and was the Director of Education at Hallmark Institute of Photography.

Any special artistic influences?

I have enjoyed the works of the great Master Painters. My hero's in photography are Arnold Newman, Al Gilbert, Y. Karsh, Dean Collins, and Steve Sherman.

What is the best photographic advice that you have ever received?

Always trust my education!

A photographer!
