Biography

Arthur Beck, a noted photographer, often played at the golf course where I worked as a youth. The idea of being a photographer, an artist, intrigued me - but social-economics steered me to pursue a career as A Certified Public Accountant. My recent retirement has allowed me to revisit an old dream. The goal is to enjoy the process, the experience, and to produce a result that is artistically enjoyable as well as marketable and salable.

Any special artistic influences?
I enjoy any photography or art upon which the eye lingers or the mind wanders with thought.
What is the best photographic advice that you have ever received?
Filling the frame can make for great art, but leaving some breathing room can allow for marketing and sales. Think about the purpose of the image. Add a certain uniqueness to the image.
If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be?
