Biography
Recently I have had several new books published: Polar Bears;Galapagos;
and my first novel, Golden. Past work includes the natural history bestseller Bears Of The World, and Kangaroos: The Marvelous Mob. In 2012 my new book on Moon Bears will be released by Henry Holt of NYC.
I have traveled to all seven continents in search of stories and images and continue to do so. Home is Anchorage, Alaska.
