Biografía

We are a husband/wife team living in the north of Germany. We both started taking photos at a young age (that was a long time ago). Our favourite subjects are travel, wildlife, competitve dancing and stills, but we are happy as long as we have a camera in hand.

Any special artistic influences?

We always feel inspired by the works of Ansel Adams, Mapplethorpe, Edward Weston, Sieff, Frans Lanting, Jim Zuckerman, Tony Sweet and the photos we find in National Geographic.

What is the best photographic advice that you have ever received?

The photo you didn't take could have become a bestseller. And always use a tripod at twilight and in the evening :-)

If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be?

Simone: Musician or translator<br />Rainer: Aerospace engineer
