Stock Photo - Detroit, Michigan - Arson is suspected as fire destroyed the Party Animal House in the Heidelberg Project. Artist Tyree Guyton made the dilapidated area around Heidelberg Street a magnet for tourists by decorating abandoned houses with clocks, shoes, stuffed animals, and other found objects. It is the sixth Heidelberg Project house to be burned in the last five months. Next to the ruins, Guyton has placed a small sign reading: ""Detroit--Speramus Meliora. Resurget Cineribus."" The Latin phrases were originally placed on the city of Detroit´s flag after an 1805 fire burned the entire city. They mean: ""We hope for better things"" and ""It will rise from the ashes."".
