The aircraft was loaned to the city for pulbic display after its recent retirement by Dryden, which is located at nearby Edwards, California. The blue_and_white twin_jet aircraft was flown as a safety chase and support aircraft by NASA Dryden for about nine years before being retired. Known as The Hangar, the stadium is the home field of the Lancaster Jethawks, a Class_A farm team of the Seattle Mariners.
