Contemporary art museum designed by the architect Frank O. Gehry and located in the town of Bilbao. It has contributed to the urban, economic and social regeneration of the city, being the most recognizable icon of Bilbao. The building is a large sculpture of titanium, stone and glass. The galleries, some with surprising configurations and others with regular shapes, are articulated around a spectacular Atrium surmounted by an overhead skylight in the shape of a metallic flower. He is linked to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.
