Photo de stock - 02 July 2020, Saxony-Anhalt, Zeitz: In the vestibule of the church of St. Michael, there are several depictions of angels in the vault of heaven. The paintings probably date from the first quarter of the 16th century. St. Michael's Church was first mentioned in a document in 1154. Originally it was a Romanesque basilica with a cross-shaped ground plan. Today, the Romanesque double tower front is largely preserved.
