The investigative committee is looking into the question of whether the extreme weather situation was foreseeable and why such destruction, with 135 deaths and hundreds injured, could have occurred. Ten experts from Germany and Great Britain have been invited. The public meeting will also look at the role played by climate change and geographical conditions.
