Photo de stock - Statue of Lucius Aelius, c mid 2nd century. Lucius Aelius (101-138) was the adopted son and chosen heir of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. He never became emperor as he died shortly before Hadrian. His son, Lucius Verus, was co-emperor with Marcus Aurelius from 161 until 169. Found in the collection of The Hermitage, St Petersburg.
